Necessity of the Project:
The
metaformaldehyde is one kind of general thermosplastic engineering plastics, and
it is widely applied to the industries such as automobile, machinery, chemical
industry, electricity, measuring appliance and daily expenses. It can substitute
the metal and the non-ferrous metal such as aluminum, zinc, copper and so on.
The product will have a broad market developed in the correlative markets, and
have competitive advantages. The technical level takes the lead and has the
stronger anti-risk ability.
2. Raw
Material Supply and Market Forecast: There are rich coal resources and methyl
alcohol as main raw material. The price is inexpensive.
The
metaformaldehyde market is promising. It is estimated that the yearly average
increase rate of metaformaldehyde consumption of the main countries in the world
is 5%-6% in 2010. The total demand
quantity will surpass 1 million tons, and the yearly average increase rate is
8%. In China it is estimated that in 2005 the total demand of metaformaldehyde
is 140,000-150,000 tons and 240,000 tons of metaformaldehyde is needed in China
in 2010. The yearly average increase rate is 9-10%. At present there are still
large areas for metaformaldehyde development in China. Its market is potential.
